Screening of Mary – 13th February 2025

Join us on Thursday 13th February at 7.00pm, for an evening of cinematic exploration at our Faith & Film Club as we screen “Mary” (2024).

Directed by Catholic director DJ Caruso and starring Noa Cohen and Anthony Hopkins, this film was released to mixed reviews in both the secular and religious press.

Whilst the film has been praised for its artistic vision and compelling performances, it has also sparked discussions about the film’s portrayal of certain religious elements and its interpretation of sacred narratives. This screening will provide an opportunity to watch the film with an open mind and to discuss and critique it through the lens of faith.

All are welcome to attend, whether you come for the cinematic experience, the theological exploration, or both.

Light refreshments will be provided. A voluntary donation of between £3-5 per person is suggested.
