Gathering the Graces of A Year of Ignatian Prayer
Our second Year of Ignatian Prayer drew to a close on Saturday 6th June with a beautiful, prayerful retreat day that seemed to gather the whole year into a single, grace‑filled moment.
After months of exploring the movements of Ignatian spirituality together, through scripture, silence, imagination, and the art of paying attention, this final day offered space simply to rest, to notice, and to receive.
The atmosphere was warm and unhurried, shaped by quiet reflection, shared wisdom, and a deep sense of gratitude for all that had unfolded across the year.
As the retreat came to an end, we continued the celebration with a meal together in Mumbai 27, where conversation flowed easily and the companionship formed over the months found its natural expression in laughter, stories, and a sense of genuine community; not to mention delicious food.
It was a fitting and joy‑filled close to a year marked by depth, kindness, and the steady, surprising work of God among us.
We look forward to continuing the journey with this wonderful group and the one which preceded it, through a series of formation days throughout the year ahead.
We look forward too, to welcoming another cohort in September, to begin their wonderful journey through the treasures of Ignatian Spirituality, guided by our YoIP team. Details on how to apply will be on our website and Facebook page in the next few weeks. Watch this space.
