An Evening with Dr Yousef Aljamal

The Belfast Jesuit Centre, together with Christians 4 Palestine, is pleased to welcome Dr Yousef M. Aljamal, Gazan Palestinian writer and academic. Dr Aljamal is the editor of If I Must Die, the recently published collection of poetry and prose by his close friend, Refaat Alareer.

During this event, Dr Aljamal will:

• reflect on Refaat Alareer’s life, witness, and literary legacy
• share from his experience as coordinator of the Palestine Activism Program with the American Friends Service Committee
• offer insight into the current realities facing Palestinian communities

We will also be providing updates on our developing Twinning links between Belfast parishes and Christian communities in Palestine
